If you want to find the right career, explore different career options, or plan future education and training, be sure to spend some time checking out this great resource. Among the features you’ll find are the Exceptional Interest Assessment, in-depth occupational profiles, multi-media informational interviews, comprehensive college, university and financial aid Information, as well as career and portfolio tools.
• Check out the Top 50 Careers http://www.careervoyages.gov/top50occupations-main.cfm to see how your dream job rates, today as well as in the future.
• Seek out internships and/or job shadowing experiences which will allow you to explore those careers and/or opportunities that interest you. By shadowing someone in their job, you get a first-hand, insider’s look into what that person’s job involves. It can show you the benefits and challenges of that job and you will gain valuable insight into whether that job or career is something you might want to pursue.
